From time to time, individuals steal from God without knowing that they do so. If you have already done so, do everything possible to repay/refund. The list below shall help guard against stealing from God:
  1. Those who do not pay tithe.

  2. Those who use appointed times for personal benefits. An example is coming late to worship or going before the time for no urgent or convincing reasons.

  3. Those who misappropriate money belonging to God or money sent by God for a particular purpose. To misappropriate means to use the money for a purpose different from what it is intended for. In a case study, Michael said that somebody prayed for money to do something. He, Michael, sent the money for the first time, second time and third time. Each time, the person used the money for a different purpose.

  4. Those who take God’s properties for personal or home use.

  5. Those whose motive is selfish, doing things for personal gains, instead of doing it in the service of God.

  6. Those who claim to be the doer or achiever. They usually say, “I did this,” or “I did that.” They have not done anything because all actions are performed by forces of nature (The same Holy Spirit performs all activities). That is why God said, “Not by power nor by might, but by my spirit.” Jesus confirmed this saying that nobody can have anything unless it is given to him from heaven.

  7. Those who answer flamboyant tittles without doing anything for God or the society.

  8. Those who take God’s honours and glory.

  9. Those who accept God’s praises as their own.

  10. Those who obtain favour from God but go about praising idols or other spirits. For example, the couple who prayed to God for a successful wedding, but during their wedding ceremony danced a music tune inspired by demonic spirit. Many do this without knowing that they lay an evil foundation for their marriage by so doing.
